Our goal this year is to provide Camp Ho Mita Koda with the underwriting of the horseback riding program to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate. JSF is also providing funds for capital improvements including the cabin, pool and trail restoration.
Over the past several years we have been able to raise enough funds to build Julia’s Tree House Cabin, purchase a sound system and help update the camp’s facility. Camp Ho Mita Koda, founded in 1929, is one of the oldest residential camps for children with diabetes in the United States. The camp's programs are designed for children with diabetes to have fun, make friends, and learn about diabetes. Each session offers recreational activities and diabetes education.

Over the past several years, my wife Catherine and I have come to you with hopes of your helping us commemorate our daughter, Julia Lyn Matonis. Julia was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at the age of six and passed away December 17, 2010 at the age of 18. She is still such a large part of our lives. Like any other child, Julia loved to play. When Julia was at home she was either singing or dancing to her favorite songs, but when at her siblings sporting events, she made a bee-line for the playground.

We can't thank you enough for your generosity over the years. Your Company’s contribution has helped us raise enough money to be able to fund the tree house cabin, renovate the
pool and provide sound equipment for the camp.
Our hope is that you are able to contribute to our cause again this year and join us at the Julia's Song Foundation’s 4th Annual Benefit on March 28, 2015. Our goal this year is to be able to provide the camp with a new playground. The event will again include a silent auction and raffles. We would be honored by your support and humbly request any donation you might be willing to contribute to help us realize these goals.

Thank you for your generosity,
